News has surfaced that the Huawei Mate60 series is set to receive an update, which will introduce AR measurement capabilities.

[Mobile China News] On January 2nd, a digital blogger revealed that the Huawei Mate60 series will soon be updated with AR measurement capabilities. With Huawei AR measurement, you can quickly measure height, length, volume, and other data without the need for a tape measure.

However, it should be noted that using Huawei smartphone AR measurement for height may not be accurate. The measurement distance, measurement environment, clothing of the person being measured, and the method of operation can all potentially affect the measurement results.

To address this issue, please pay attention to the following points:

First, the distance between the person being measured and the phone: the best accuracy is achieved at a distance of 1.5 to 2 meters.

Second, consider the measurement environment. The ground should not have strong reflections, and it is recommended to measure on textured surfaces.

Third, it is not recommended for the person being measured to wear a hat or large dark clothing. When multiple people are being measured, it is advisable for them to stand in a row facing the direction of the phone. The presence of nearby individuals may cause misrecognition.

Finally, regarding the method of height measurement, the person should first stand at the measurement point and then use the phone to find the ground in front of their feet. The starting point of the measurement should be placed at the edge of the heel (for multiple measurements, it is recommended to use the person in the middle as a reference). Slowly move the phone upward until the face is recognized and the height information is displayed. If multiple people are being measured simultaneously (supports 1-3 people only), the height information for all individuals can be displayed at the same time.

Since the release of the Mate60 series last year, Huawei engineers have provided multiple rounds of system updates to address various user experience issues. For example, the Hongmeng OS 4.0.0.132 update focused on optimizing the network, Bluetooth, and system stability. In some scenarios, WLAN connection stability has been further improved, providing a better internet experience. In addition, Bluetooth connection and overall system stability have also been optimized. This new version update has also included an “Enable 5G Switch” feature for users.
