Big Screen Trend in Mobile and Tablet Market
In the era of foldable screens, the size of smartphone screens is increasing in a unique way. In the field of tablet computers, the trend of larger screen sizes is becoming more pronounced, with brands such as Apple, Huawei, and Honor launching tablets with sizes exceeding 13 inches. According to CNMO, Xiaomi, Honor, OPPO, and vivo are all preparing new flagship tablets, all with screen sizes exceeding 13 inches.
Recently, a digital blogger revealed that the new flagship tablets from Xiaomi, Honor, OPPO, and vivo all have screens larger than 13 inches. In terms of performance, as flagship tablets, they naturally do not fall short, all equipped with flagship chips such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 and the MediaTek Dimensity 9300. The blogger also disclosed two other tablet computers from Xiaomi and Honor, claiming that they also have 11-inch Snapdragon 8 Gen2 engineering models. In terms of size, these two tablets are clearly positioned as mainstream and do not meet the flagship standard.
As for the four flagship tablets mentioned earlier, the blogger used the hashtag #小米平板7# (“Xiaomi Tablet 7”) on Weibo, perhaps indicating that the new tablets belong to the Xiaomi Tablet 7 series. Looking at Xiaomi’s current tablet product line, the new flagship tablet is likely to be the Xiaomi Tablet 7 Max 14. The current Xiaomi Tablet 6 Max 14 features a 14-inch 2.8K screen, priced at around 4000 yuan. In addition, the Honor brand also has a product line for large-sized flagship tablets. The already launched Honor Tablet MagicPad 13 features a 13-inch 2.8K eye-protecting display, priced at around 3000 yuan.
