Xiaomi Introduces the Fully Equal-depth Slightly Curved Screen
On January 29th, Lu Weibing of Xiaomi Group expressed on Weibo that for a long time, there has been a debate over whether a curved screen is better or a flat screen is better, each having its own advantages and disadvantages, leading to an endless argument.
Therefore, the fully equal-depth slightly curved screen is the best solution.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro comes with a fully equal-depth slightly curved screen.
According to the information, the fully equal-depth slightly curved screen is first launched on the Xiaomi 14 Pro. It offers a visually seamless experience while also taking into account the visual experience of a flat screen, making it the perfect form to end the debate between flat and curved screens.
What’s more, the fully equal-depth slightly curved screen has R curves on all four sides and corners, making the screen seem to float in the air. Not only does it not have a notch, but it also achieves almost zero misoperation.
Xiaomi’s founder, Lei Jun, stated that the fully equal-depth slightly curved screen has become the mainstream direction in the industry.
According to leaks, the upcoming imaging flagship Xiaomi 14 Ultra will also adopt the fully equal-depth slightly curved screen solution, with a resolution of 2K+. The new product is expected to debut at the end of February at the earliest.
