Apple’s Vision Pro Sells Over 200K

Apple Vision Pro

According to reports from sources familiar with Apple’s sales data, it has been revealed that Apple has sold over 200,000 units of the Vision Pro headsets. Apple started accepting pre-orders for Vision Pro on January 19, and therefore, the headset has been on sale in the United States for 10 days.

Recently, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that during the pre-order weekend, it is estimated that Apple’s Vision Pro sales were between 160,000 and 180,000 units, so sales may have slowed down since then.

However, on the day of the pre-order launch, the Vision Pro headsets available for same-day delivery sold out within hours, followed by in-store pickup options. Therefore, after the initial surge in orders, interest in this headset may decline.

After the media reviews are allowed to be published, it is expected that there may be an increase in sales of the Vision Pro headsets, and as actual consumers start sharing their experiences, the purchase volume may see a rise.

Ming-Chi Kuo mentioned that due to the niche market for this device, the demand for the device may diminish rapidly. Priced at $3500, this headset is beyond the budget of many consumers. There are rumors that due to the high price and the difficulty in production, Apple is prepared for limited sales of the Vision Pro.

The market expects Apple to produce 500,000 units of the Vision Pro headsets, but whether they can sell this many remains to be seen.
