On the evening of February 1st, the digital testing organization AnTuTu released the Android performance rankings for January 2024. In the two categories, the OPPO Find X7 with the Dimensity 9300 flagship chip and the Redmi K70E with the Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip respectively took the top spots, once again solidifying their leading position in “unrivaled performance in the same class.”
In the fiercely competitive flagship smartphone performance rankings, all four terminals equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chip made it to the list. Among them, the OPPO Find X7, with the integration of the Dimensity 9300 chip and the self-developed software and hardware chip fusion technology stack – Tide Architecture, claimed the top spot with a score of 2,209,832.
The Dimensity 9300 architecture does not follow the traditional multi-core design but rather upgrades all chips to large cores. Its CPU section consists of 4 Cortex-X4 super large cores and 4 Cortex-A720 large cores, without small cores. The maximum frequency of the super large cores can reach 3.25GHz, while the large core frequency is 2.0GHz. Compared to the Dimensity 9200, peak performance has increased by 40%, resulting in faster operation speeds and a 33% reduction in power consumption.
Furthermore, the Dimensity 9300 chip also embeds an AI processor APU 790 and an AI development platform Neuro Pilot, supporting the implementation of OPPO’s Andes large models on the Find X7 series. Conducting AI calculations on the device end ensures user privacy and security, bringing innovative productivity experiences.
In the sub-flagship smartphone performance rankings, the Redmi K70E with the Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip secured a commanding lead with a score of 1,382,150, marking its consecutive top-ranking position on the list for two months. Its outstanding performance is expected to continue impressing users as more mid-range models equipped with the Dimensity 8300 chip are set to be released throughout the year.
The Dimensity 8300-Ultra adopts a 4nm process technology from TSMC and features an eight-core CPU architecture design of 1+3+4, including one 3.35GHz Cotex-A715 big core, three 3.2GHz Cortex-A715 big cores, and four 2.2GHz Cortex-A510 small cores. Inheriting the flagship features of the Dimensity 9300, it naturally outperforms its competitors in the mid-range smartphone market.
MediaTek has always been dedicated to providing users with better products and services, continuously introducing new technologies and solutions to meet diverse user needs. The Dimensity 9300 and Dimensity 8300 chips not only help MediaTek further penetrate the high-end market but also lead the industry into a new era of flagship devices. We look forward to MediaTek continuing to provide surprising products and services in the future.
