[Pacific Tech News]

Apple’s first VR headset, Vision Pro, has officially gone on sale in the US market at a starting price of $3499, approximately 25,000 Chinese yuan. While it’s still unclear when the Vision Pro VR headset will be available in China, bloggers have discovered that the Vision Pro is manufactured in China.

Domestic bloggers have already shared their unboxing experience of the Vision Pro headset. They found from the information on the packaging box that Apple’s Vision Pro headset is entirely “Made in China.” Similar to products like the iPhone, Apple is responsible for the design while assembly and production take place in China. Media reports have revealed that Luxshare Precision is the assembly partner for the Vision Pro headset, with the initial batch of headsets being outsourced to Luxshare Precision in Kunshan. Earlier, some netizens noticed from their Vision Pro headset orders that the shipment location was Shanghai.

Despite its high price tag, Apple’s first VR headset, Vision Pro, has still garnered a lot of attention from numerous Apple fans. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo disclosed that Apple has already sold 180,000 units of the Vision Pro headset.
