Honor Magic6 RSR: Embracing the Essence of Porsche Design
In the past, Huawei took the lead in collaborating with Porsche Design to release the Porsche Design smartphone, which was not only adored by high-end business individuals but also became a sought-after item in the tech community. However, with the launch of the Huawei Mate60 series, Huawei discontinued the Porsche Design model, and this Porsche Design “tradition” was passed on to Honor.
During the Honor Magic6 series launch event in January, we caught a glimpse of the Honor Porsche Design. Many initially thought it was the Honor Magic6 with a Porsche Design, but it turned out to be the Honor Magic V2 RSR with Porsche Design, priced fittingly high at 15,999 yuan.
Now, the much-anticipated Honor Magic6 RSR with Porsche Design seems to be finally on its way! Recently, a smartphone under the model name BVL-AN20 from the Honor brand passed network certification, positioning itself as a “satellite mobile terminal” device that supports satellite communication. According to leaks from a digital gossip site, this phone is likely the upcoming Honor Magic6 RSR with Porsche Design. The network information indicates that this device supports up to 100W of wired fast charging.
Building upon previous leaks, the Honor Magic6 RSR with Porsche Design is expected to excel in imaging capabilities. The main camera will debut with the domestic Huowei OV50K sensor, featuring a 1-inch sensor size and comparable optical quality to the Sony IMX989 sensor.

Given its target market, the Honor Magic6 RSR with Porsche Design is unlikely to come cheap. For reference, the Huawei Mate 50 RS with Porsche Design is priced at 12,999 yuan. The Honor Magic6 RSR with Porsche Design will likely fall within a similar price range. The Mobile World Congress MWC2024 is set to commence on February 26th, and Honor is highly expected to seize this opportunity to globally unveil this Porsche Design smartphone.
