Xiaomi Launches Xiaomi 14 Ultra in India Starting at INR 6499

On February 22, Xiaomi announced the launch of a new smartphone called Xiaomi 14 Ultra in the Indian market. The phone is set to go on sale starting from February 27 at a price of 6499 Indian Rupees. It comes in three variants: 12+256GB priced at 6499 INR, 16+512GB priced at 6999 INR, and 16+1TB priced at 7799 INR. Additionally, there is a special Titanium version (16+1TB, featuring a higher-grade titanium material) with satellite communication support, priced at 8799 INR.

According to reports from international tech media, Xiaomi smartphones are sold under different “hardware regions” in various areas worldwide, including India, China, and Japan. Models sold in India are typically labeled with “IN”. Code analysis indicates that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra released in India will have values for “GL”, “IN”, and “CN”, suggesting that this model will be officially available in the global, Indian, and Chinese markets.

In 2023, Xiaomi held the fourth position in the top ten smartphone rankings in India with a market share of 12.4%, as per the IDC report. However, in 2022, its market share decreased by 5.4 percentage points, with shipments dropping by 29.6%. The launch of Xiaomi 14 Ultra in the Indian market is expected to boost the brand’s shipment volume.
