Huawei’s Stunning Pocket 2 Art Edition: 3D Design Unveiled

Huawei Unveils Art Edition of Pocket 2 Foldable Phone in Collaboration with Designer Iris van Herpen

On February 25th, according to the latest report from 快科技 (Tech Express), Huawei introduced a new variant of its Pocket 2 foldable phone lineup, named the Huawei Pocket 2 Art Edition, designed in collaboration with the renowned high-end designer Iris van Herpen.

The official Huawei Store’s social media account shared an unboxing video of the Huawei Pocket 2 Art Edition today, showcasing its stunning design aesthetic, worthy of being hailed as “Huawei’s most beautiful foldable phone”.

In terms of design, the Huawei Pocket 2 Art Edition features a Blue Dreamland color scheme, employing a 3D dynamic spatial technology that utilizes micro-lens optical imaging to reconstruct flat textures into three-dimensional visuals.

The body of the device undergoes meticulous craftsmanship involving 87 production processes with precise control of 0.1-micrometer ink particles, resulting in an artistic interplay of flowing lines and light and shadow effects.

This unique design offers users a distinctive visual experience – a naked-eye 3D effect created through dynamic lines that evoke an illusion of suspension above the phone. This effect manifests differently under outdoor sunlight and indoor lighting, showcasing varying angles of light and shadow.

Reportedly, the Huawei Pocket 2 Art Edition is crafted with the second-generation Kunlun glass, enhancing the device’s impact resistance by 20 times.

As for other specifications, the Art Edition remains consistent with the standard model, featuring components such as the Kirin 9000S processor, XMAGE quad-camera system covering all focal lengths, and a 6.94-inch display.
