Apple’s Vision Pro Parts Cost Roughly $1200

Recently, according to Japanese media, the research company Fomalhaut Techno Solutions dismantled Vision Pro to identify the main manufacturers of its components and estimated the procurement prices.


It is reported that the estimated cost of the device and its components is around $1200, which is roughly one-third of its price of $3499.

In addition, in terms of component supply regions, Japanese components account for 42% and rank first. These include Sony’s organic EL panels, camera image sensors, and Kioxia flash memory. South Korea ranks second with 13%, including DRAM produced by SK Hynix. Taiwan is third with 9%, mainland China is fourth with 7%, and the United States is fifth with 6%.
