Introduction
Hello, friends from IT Home. I’m Yu Zi.
A Weibo blogger has recently announced that the latest flagship models from Xiaomi and Honor, namely Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Honor Magic6 RSR, have both been certified on the same day. Both phones are touted as “camera flagships” and are also equipped with 5G satellite mobile terminals.
According to the certification information, both phones support the Tiantong satellite communication system. The device model for Xiaomi 14 Ultra is 24031PN0DC, while the model for Honor Magic6 RSR is BVL-AN20.
Just a few days ago, the foreign tech media outlet MySmartPrice shared a post, unveiling high-definition renders of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, hinting that the phone will be unveiled at the upcoming MWC 2024.
According to the leaked renders, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be available in black, white/silver colors. In comparison to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, there have been adjustments to the camera island. It now features a silver ring and a “Leica” logo on the back, indicating Leica’s meticulous tuning of the camera.
On the right side of the device, you can find the power and volume buttons, where the power button will have a textured finish to enhance grip and feel. The antenna markings will be located on the side of the phone.
The left side of the device is relatively simple, primarily housing the antennas.
At the bottom, you’ll find speaker grilles, a USB Type-C port, and the primary microphone.
Compared to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone, the positions of the new flagship’s speaker grilles and primary microphone will be slightly altered.
The high pixel renders also indicate that the top section will only accommodate a secondary speaker grille. The renders do not display an auxiliary microphone or an infrared transmitter, but these components are not expected to be missing.
Moreover, today, the same media outlet released another post, revealing the front photo of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
From the leaked renders, it can be observed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra phone adopts a center-hole design, with very narrow borders on all four sides.
Rumors suggest that although the edges of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra phone have a subtle curve, the device will feature a flat screen design, ensuring no compromise on the actual display effect of the smartphone.
Earlier reports by IT Home stated that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with a metal mid-frame and is also preparing a titanium alloy special edition, similar to the strategy seen with the previous Xiaomi 14 Pro version.
These reports also anticipate that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be released in three storage variants in China, including 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB, with no 24GB memory version available.
