Samsung Unveils New Galaxy Ring Smart Ring at the 2024 World Mobile Congress
On the first day of the 2024 World Mobile Congress, Samsung revealed its highly anticipated new product – the Galaxy Ring smart ring. While full specifications and pricing details are not yet available, Samsung has disclosed some basic information such as product dimensions, sleep tracking functionality, and vitality scoring capabilities.
According to a report by the South Korean media outlet FNNews, Hon Pak, head of Samsung’s MX Digital Health division, shared details about the Galaxy Ring’s battery. Pak confirmed that the Galaxy Ring’s battery life will range between 5 to 9 days. While the exact numbers may vary, it is understood that the larger-sized models of the Galaxy Ring (offering US sizes 5-13) will be equipped with larger battery units. This suggests that the smaller Galaxy Ring may approach a 5-day battery life limit, while the larger models could potentially offer up to 9 days of battery life on a single charge.
In related news, Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy Ring is set to be officially released in the latter half of this year. This aligns well with the earlier rumors of a second Galaxy Unpacked event in July.
