March 4th Update: iPhone SE 4 Renders Revealed, Featuring First Notch Design Similar to iPhone 14

On March 4th, tech website 91mobiles obtained CAD renders of the iPhone SE 4 from “industry insiders,” unveiling the design of this new device. The design of this device is similar to the iPhone 14, featuring similar borders and a 6.1-inch display screen, a significant upgrade from the 4.7-inch screen of its predecessor.

According to 91mobiles’ CAD renders, the iPhone SE 4 will be the first in the SE series to adopt a full-screen design, incorporating the squared-off border design akin to the iPhone 14. The 6.1-inch display screen will feature a notch to house the Face ID module, marking the first introduction of facial recognition technology to the SE series.

In terms of dimensions, the iPhone SE 4 measures 147.7mm x 71.5mm (5.8 x 2.81 inches) with a thickness of 7.7mm. The bottom of the device is equipped with a USB-C port, and although rumors suggest the addition of a power button, it is not visible in the renders.

Compared to the main iPhone series, the iPhone SE 4 presents a noticeable difference on the back of the device, featuring only a single main camera without a protruding square camera bump.

While the CAD renders provide a striking impression, they cannot guarantee with absolute certainty the exact representation of the upcoming iPhone SE 4. The fourth-generation iPhone SE is expected to be released in 2025, possibly making its debut alongside the iPhone 16 series at this year’s Apple event in the fall.

Editor’s Note: As an entry-level iPhone model, the iPhone SE 4 is a good choice for users with relatively weaker purchasing power who still wish to experience an Apple device. Offering a moderately priced iPhone also helps boost sales in developing countries.
