On March 14, according to the latest update from KuaiKeji, Xiaomi will officially launch and release the Xiaomi SU7 on March 28. Currently, Xiaomi is making full preparations for the release of the new car.

During the evening today, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun responded to various questions regarding the pre-booking activities for the Xiaomi SU7.

Regarding rumors that “Xiaomi’s internal employees have priority purchasing rights and certain ‘Lei Jun-related’ companies have secured priority purchasing rights for the first batch of cars,” Lei Jun denied these claims.

Lei Jun stated, “There is no corresponding policy from the official side.”

It is understood that on March 25, ahead of the official release, 29 cities and 59 stores across the country will offer preview opportunities for the Xiaomi SU7. Cities include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Wuxi, Chongqing, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Zhengzhou, Xiamen, among others.

Lei Jun emphasized that it is strictly prohibited to collect deposits for preview sessions, test drives, etc., and also gathering personal information unrelated to test drive invitations.

To ensure an optimal on-site experience, Xiaomi will implement a reservation queue system.

The Xiaomi SU7 is positioned as a high-performance, eco-tech C-class vehicle, with a length of 4997mm, wheelbase of 3000mm, and height of 1440mm.

It supports 800V ultra-fast charging, allowing a 220km range with just a 5-minute charge. The zero to one hundred acceleration of Xiaomi SU7 is 2.78 seconds, with a top speed of 265km/h, surpassing the Porsche Taycan Turbo in all aspects.
