Realme GT Neo6 SE: First with 3rd Gen Snapdragon 7+

Last April, the realme GT Neo5 SE was officially launched with a starting price of 1999 yuan. As time passed, rumors about the next generation GT Neo6 SE began to surface.

Today, the official announcement from realme’s mobile division revealed: “Xiao 8 Gen3, a powerful debut! The realme GT Neo6 SE will be the first to feature the third-generation Snapdragon 7+, built with the same technology and architecture as the third-generation Snapdragon 8. With powerful performance, it perfectly balances high performance and low power consumption!”

In other words, the GT Neo6 SE will be the first to be equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 7+, promising a “high-performance, low power consumption” experience.

Current information indicates that the third-generation Snapdragon 7+ is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and features a “1+4+3” core architecture, consisting of 1×Cortex X4 (2.8GHz) + 4×A720 (2.6GHz) + 3×A520 (1.9GHz), with the GPU being Adreno 732.

Moreover, digital blogger @数码闲聊站 previously leaked information stating: “SM7675 + 5500mAh + 1.5K LTPO, a performance powerhouse, notably incorporating LTPO technology that many flagship devices lack, boasting exceptional battery life.”

While the leak did not specify the exact product series, speculations suggest it refers to the upcoming GT Neo6 SE from realme.

According to the leak, besides featuring the third-generation Snapdragon 7+, the GT Neo6 SE will also come with a 5500mAh battery, a 1.5K screen, and incorporate LTPO technology that surpasses many flagship devices, claiming to offer “exceptional battery life.”

Further details about the GT Neo6 SE have not been revealed yet, but insights can be inferred from its predecessor.

For reference, the realme GT Neo5 SE is equipped with a 6.74-inch 144Hz 1.5K flat screen, reaching a peak brightness of 1400nits, featuring a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, and supporting 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

In terms of performance, the realme GT Neo5 SE features the second generation of the Snapdragon 7+, coupled with LPDDR5X memory and UFS3.1 flash storage.

Regarding cooling, the GT Neo5 SE employs the Ice Core dual-phase cooling system Max, comprising a 4500 mm² 3D tempered VC liquid cooling system, a 6580mm² graphene micro-nano cavity phase change isothermal plate, and supports intelligent temperature control across the entire device.

For imaging capabilities, the GT Neo5 SE includes a 16-megapixel front camera, a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel 112° ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel 5.5mm microscope lens.

In terms of fast charging, the GT Neo5 SE houses a 5500mAh battery, supports 100W fast charging, and integrates the SUPERVOOC S full-link power management chip, coupled with AI Smart Power Saving Engine.

Other features of the GT Neo5 SE include the Full-Speed Antenna Matrix System 2.0, support for infrared remote control, dual-frequency GPS positioning, all-around sensing enhanced NFC version, X-axis linear motor, Dolby panoramic sound dual speakers, and more.

Considering the existing information, the GT Neo6 SE is expected to bring upgrades in terms of screen, performance, battery life, and more. Interested individuals are advised to stay tuned for updates.

Additionally, according to information from the same digital blogger @数码闲聊站, the realme GT Neo6 series is rumored to have a version featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 processor.

Reportedly, the CPU architecture of the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 will consist of one Cortex-X4 large core with a frequency of 3.01GHz, four Cortex-A720 large cores with frequencies of 2.61GHz each, and three Cortex-A520 small cores with frequencies of 1.84GHz each, complemented by an Adreno 735 GPU.

Furthermore, the blogger disclosed that the pricing strategy for the GT Neo6 series will return to the “classic price range,” emphasizing a product that will outperform all others.
