According to Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to release the 2024 iPad Pro at the end of March or beginning of April. The latest version of iPadOS 17.4 is expected to be completed by the end of March, then sent to the factory and installed in the new iPad Pro, a process that may take several weeks.

Similar to the M3 MacBook Air, Apple will not hold a launch event for the new iPad but will announce it through a press release and directly list it for sale on their official website. It is reported that the biggest change in the new iPad Pro is the switch to an OLED display instead of a mini-LED display, making it Apple’s most powerful iPad product to date.

In many aspects, OLED panels have advantages over LCD and mini-LED displays. They offer features such as deeper blacks, higher contrast, and better dynamic range. Additionally, OLED displays have lower power consumption, resulting in longer battery life for the new model compared to existing products.

Furthermore, due to the thinner profile of OLED displays, it also contributes to a more lightweight design of the device.
