Exciting Week Ahead in the Tech World

Last day, the tech industry was abuzz with activity. First, Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 processor. Following that, at the spring flagship product launch event, Honor unveiled a plethora of new products, including the Magic6 Ultimate Edition, Magic6 Porsche Design, Honor MagicBook Pro16, and many more, creating a dazzling lineup. Looking ahead, there are six new Android devices set to be released. Let’s take a look at what’s coming up.

Android Releases

On the afternoon of March 21 at 2 p.m., Lu Weibing will be unveiling two new devices at Xiaomi headquarters. The first one is the Xiaomi Civi4 series, which will premiere with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen3 processor (found in the Civi4 Pro model) and offer a choice between a flat screen and a 2.7D curved screen. The second one is the Redmi Note13 Turbo, initially equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 processor, likely to continue the success of its predecessor.

Similarly, on the evening of March 21 at 7 p.m., the OnePlus Ace 3V is set to be launched, also featuring the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 processor. It seems like this device is directly challenging the Redmi Note13 Turbo, so it will be interesting to see if it can offer a more competitive price.

OnePlus Release

On the night of March 26 at 7 p.m., vivo will introduce the new generation of foldable smartphones, X Fold3 series. These phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera lens by Zeiss, and feature an in-house V3 image chip. It’s rumored that this series will include both a standard version and a Pro version, with the standard version supporting 80W super-fast charging and the Pro version supporting 120W super-fast wired charging and 50W wireless flash charging.

Vivo X Fold3 Series

At 10 a.m. on March 29, Red Magic will host a new product launch event titled “E-sports Universe.” From the images, it seems like the new products will include smartphones, tablets, a cooling back clip, and gaming controllers. The cooling back clip, first showcased at MWC 2024, is named “Red Magic Liquid Cooling Radiator 5 Pro” with a power output of up to 36W. Details about the phone are still under wraps.

Furthermore, this month, Motorola is also gearing up for a launch event to officially introduce the MOTO Edge50 Pro series smartphones. These devices are known to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 processor, a 6.7-inch 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate gaming screen, a 4500mAh large-capacity battery, and support for 125W wired fast charging and 50W wireless flash charging. Next month, the iQOO Z9 series, also powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 processor, will join the fray, promising another wave of intense competition in the market.
