EH216-S, as described, is capable of carrying two passengers, with dimensions of 6.05 meters in length, 5.73 meters in width, and 1.93 meters in height, consisting of 16 propellers. It is a fully intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle that can vertically take off and land without the need for a runway, primarily flying in the low-altitude airspace. The maximum range for a single flight is up to 30 kilometers in a straight line in the air, with a maximum flight speed of 130 kilometers per hour. Managed by a ground command scheduling system, multiple aircraft can complete orderly unmanned aerial flights in the air.
According to the product information on the e-commerce platform, EH216-S is currently in the pre-sale status with delivery within 30 days, supporting a 7-day no-reason return policy, and “free shipping to your doorstep.” So far, the store has gained over ten thousand fans, but its sales volume is zero.
Reportedly, this is the world’s first air taxi to obtain airworthiness certification and the first time globally that it has become a purchasable real product available on an e-commerce platform.

According to previous reports, several airlines have conducted test flights with air taxis. Data indicates that as of October 2022, there are over 300 eVTOL aircraft (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing aircraft) research and development companies globally, including startups, aviation giants, travel companies, and automobile companies. Currently, in China, eight companies in the flying car sector, including Volocopter and Xiaopeng, have secured financing.
Information reveals that in October 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the Civil Aviation Administration of China officially issued the “Green Aviation Manufacturing Industry Development Outline (2023-2035),” which states that by 2025, the trial operation of Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing aircraft (eVTOL) will be achieved. By 2035, a comprehensive, advanced, and safe green aviation manufacturing system will be established, with new energy aircraft becoming the mainstream, accelerating the integration of eVTOL into a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network, and forming an initial safe, convenient, green, and economical urban air transportation system.
