Xiaomi Group announced its performance for the fourth quarter and the full year of 2023 today. According to Xiaomi’s financial report, Xiaomi smartphones have maintained their position in the global top three for three consecutive years, with a monthly active user count reaching 641 million. In 2023, Xiaomi achieved a total revenue of 271 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 126.3%. Additionally, Xiaomi stated that in October 2023, they announced their latest strategic upgrade to “People, Cars, and Home Full Ecosystem” and launched a new operating system called “Xiaomi HyperOS.”
According to Canalys data, as of 2023, Xiaomi has maintained its position in the global smartphone shipment volume top three, with a market share of 12.8%, holding this position for three consecutive years. By December 2023, Xiaomi’s global monthly active user count reached a new historic high of 641.2 million, an increase of 10.2% compared to the previous year. Furthermore, they revealed that the number of IoT devices connected to the AIoT platform has increased to 739.7 million, a 25.5% year-on-year growth.
Xiaomi’s financial report indicates that R&D expenditure for the entire year amounted to 19.1 billion yuan, showing a 19.2% increase compared to the previous year. Both the sales total for the fourth quarter and for the entire year exceeded the expected targets and achieved significant growth. Xiaomi emphasized its commitment to continue investing in research and development as well as product innovation to maintain its leading position in the market and achieve sustainable growth.
