The Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche was officially launched on March 22 with a price tag of 9999 yuan.
Demand for this smartphone was so high on the first day that it quickly sold out. The next round of sales is scheduled for 10:08 a.m. on March 29, as per the information on the Honor online store.
Zhao Ming, the CEO of Honor, shared on Weibo that the Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche almost sold out both online and offline within a day of its initial release. He mentioned that the consumers’ enthusiasm for this product exceeded expectations, demonstrating strong support for cutting-edge products and innovation. One of the key highlights of this new product is the debut of the Honor Glare Oasis Eye Protection Screen. This screen features the Tandem dual-stack serial OLED architecture, enabling lower power consumption, reduced aging rates, and smaller electric currents under the same luminance levels.
Tests have revealed that the power-saving benefits of the Honor Glare Oasis Eye Protection Screen increase as the screen brightness setting goes up, with potential savings of up to 40%.
Moreover, through algorithmic enhancements, the screen incorporates pixel-level dynamic compensation technology, boosting screen longevity by up to six times. Even after three years of regular use, the screen’s brightness degradation rate remains below 1%, far surpassing conventional standards even after long-term usage.
In terms of specifications, the Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche boasts a 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 2800. It is reported that OPPO’s foldable phone sales on JD saw a 100% year-on-year increase in 2023, while sales of OnePlus phones surged by nearly 200%.
Currently, OPPO’s products are available in over 500 offline JD digital stores, including JD Home, and more than 1700 OPPO brand stores have been successfully integrated with JD’s express delivery services, achieving a 200% year-on-year sales growth in 2023.
