In an update released on Friday, Apple announced that game emulators, previously banned on the iPhone store, will now be allowed for use globally.

Apple emphasized that developers are responsible for all software provided, “including ensuring that these software comply with guidelines and all applicable laws.”

Game emulators have long been prohibited from running on iOS, but today’s move should allow retro game emulators from Android to be brought to the iPhone.
