March Android Flagship Smartphone Performance Rankings
In March, the AnTuTu Android flagship smartphone performance rankings were released. Performance is the foremost productivity factor for smartphones; only with sufficiently powerful performance can one navigate through various large-scale games and applications effortlessly. Of course, nowadays, smartphone performance is robust enough. Currently, flagship smartphones mainly adopt the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen 3 processor, along with models featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 platform.
Among the top ten Android flagship smartphones, six utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen 3 processor, while four feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. Considering that there are more models using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen 3, these two processors can be deemed equally matched.
In March’s rankings, OPPO Find X7, which had held the top spot for two consecutive months, slipped to second place. The first position was claimed by the ROG 8 Pro from ASUS Gaming Phone, scoring 2,141,448 points. It is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen 3 processor and boasts excellent performance and cooling with its matrix liquid cooling architecture 8.0.
Second place goes to OPPO Find X7, powered by the Dimensity 9300 processor, followed by iQOO12 in third place and ZTE Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro+ in fourth place, which is also a gaming phone. Fifth place is occupied by vivo X100 Pro, sixth place by iQOO Neo9 Pro, seventh place by iQOO 12 Pro, eighth place by vivo X100, ninth place by ZTE Z60 Ultra, and tenth place by OPPO Find X7 Ultra.
The scores of the top ten smartphones all exceed 2 million points, with the tenth-placed device scoring 2,036,200. The top three devices all surpass 2.1 million points. With the powerful processors, tuning, and the unleashed gaming performance, it is estimated that these scores will continue to be refreshed.
Apart from gaming phones like ROG and Red Magic, OPPO and vivo flagship smartphones have recently shown outstanding performance in the rankings. Both brands have unique performance tuning techniques: OPPO employs the Tide architecture chip performance optimization technology, while vivo utilizes the Sapphire chip technology stack, enhancing the flagship processors’ performance to the fullest.
In the past few months, Xiaomi, Huawei, and Honor have been absent from the top ten rankings. Huawei’s chip processors have been blocked by the United States, rendering them unavailable. Xiaomi and Honor also utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen 3 processor. Xiaomi’s 14 series was released relatively early, and Honor is currently focusing on AI and offline strategies. In any case, in terms of performance, it is generally sufficient now, especially with flagship smartphones equipped with flagship processors.
