Huawei’s Pura 70 Series Sparks Sale Frenzy

Huawei Pura Series Sparks Sale Frenzy in Zhengzhou

On the morning of April 18 at 10:08 a.m., both the HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra and HUAWEI Pura 70 Pro were simultaneously launched in multiple stores in Zhengzhou, garnering high consumer attention and enthusiastic responses.

Recently, Huawei’s official end released a video introducing the Huawei P series products. In the video, Huawei’s End CEO, Yu Chengdong, announced that the Huawei P series has officially been upgraded to “Huawei Pura.”

On the morning of the 18th, a journalist from Dahe Network visited the Huawei Smart Life Store located in Zhengzhou’s Erqi District to witness the bustling scene of the first sale of the new devices.

“King of Imaging”: A Brand New Upgrade

Upon arrival, many consumers were seen experiencing the prototype devices. At the entrance of the store, consumers who had pre-ordered were already queuing up to collect their devices.

Consumers queueing up

“I have been using Huawei P series phones for several years now. I quite like this new Pura series that has just been released, so I hurried over to take a look,” a consumer told the journalist.

When discussing their expectations for the new device, the consumer mentioned their fondness for taking photos with friends. They expressed great interest in the latest imaging upgrades of the Huawei Pura series, describing this new device as the “King of Imaging.”

As per Yu Chengdong’s introduction in the video, even after the magnificent transformation from the P series to “Huawei Pura,” Huawei will continue to explore in the realms of imaging and aesthetics, upholding the steadfast belief of “following one’s true self and boldly moving forward.”

Hence, the Huawei Pura series continues the numbering convention from the previous P series, both as a tribute to the past and a promise for the future. This is why the first Pura series product has been named “Huawei Pura 70.”

“Red Big-Eyed Cute”: Exquisite in Broadness

“This upgrade of the Huawei P series to ‘Huawei Pura’ has caused quite a stir in the entire industry,” said senior enthusiast “pollen” An Xiangyu, who was present at the scene to collect his device.

An Xiangyu has been following the Huawei series since Huawei was still producing 3G phones back in 2011. As a veteran Huawei fan, he is also known as a “geek pioneer.”

After meticulously recounting the development history of the Huawei P series, he expressed, “This time, we are all looking forward to seeing a completely new design that sparks thought and imagination for everyone.”

Upon picking up the new device, An Xiangyu first showed the journalist the lens on the back of the phone, referring to it as “Red Big-Eyed Cute.”

“When you click to take a photo, the lens with a red ring pops out with a ‘click’. And when not in use, it retracts back, giving a strong sense of ceremony, like a DSLR camera lens,” he explained.

It was learned that the Pura series products innovatively incorporate a one-inch super-telephoto retractable main camera. Within the 8.4mm thick body, it houses a one-inch oversized sensor with a maximum F1.6 physical aperture, achieving the industry’s highest amount of light intake for the main camera.

“Skyrocketing Sales”: Scene of Explosive Popularity on Site

“Since the Pura series was announced for sale today at 10:08 a.m., our store’s phones have been ringing non-stop.” Store experience consultant Wang Qian informed the journalist.

It was mentioned that this new device launch made a significant impact, leading to a visible increase in store traffic. This sales event belongs to the “HUAWEI Pura 70 series Pioneer Program,” with all phones being picked up by pre-booked customers, and the store’s inventory is sold out.

For Wang Qian, the biggest impression of this “skyrocketing” sale was the unexpectedly explosive scene. “This sale came quite suddenly. Initially, we thought people might not have noticed the news, but as soon as the announcement was made, the scene suddenly became very lively, which we did not anticipate,” she remarked.

From Wang Qian’s interactions with consumers, it was evident that both new and existing “pollen” users provided highly positive feedback on this series of products, particularly focusing on its photography features and performance.

It was further explained that the Huawei Pura 70 series not only comes with the new HarmonyOS 4.2 system but also sees a comprehensive upgrade in the Beidou satellite messaging function. It now supports sending satellite image messages, editing satellite messages freely, generating trajectory maps, and providing more practical functional support for outdoor scenarios. (Li Dongbao)
