Apple to Unveil Next-Generation iPad Pro with M4 Chip
Apple recently announced that it will hold a summer product launch event on the evening of May 7th, Beijing time, with the long-rumored iPad series taking the spotlight. Renowned leaker Mark Gurman has suggested that the next generation iPad Pro is highly likely to debut with the M4 chip.
If the rumors are true, the new iPad Pro will be the first Apple product globally to feature the next-generation M series chip, marking the first time that an iPad will adopt the latest M series chip before the Mac series products. Based on the current development progress, the new M chip is expected to deliver improved power efficiency and rendering capabilities, providing significant enhancements for video creation. In addition to the new M series chip, the iPad Pro is rumored to feature an OLED display panel with narrower bezels, and the front camera will be repositioned to the longer side to better accommodate video calls and facial recognition when used in landscape mode.
Furthermore, the all-new Apple Pencil will support haptic feedback, allowing users to feel a “scratchy” sensation while writing and drawing with the Apple Pencil, providing a more authentic writing experience as if the pen tip is gliding on paper. The new Apple Pencil will also support replaceable magnetic tips and features like “Find My,” making it a key accessory within the iPad ecosystem.
