TCL’s Tech Leads to Smart Innovations, Wins at AWE 2024 Awards

During the AWE 2024 event, the award ceremony for the Aipulan Awards, known as the “Oscars of the global smart lifestyle sector,” was held simultaneously. TCL, with its advantages in new display technology, industrial design, innovative scenarios, and ecosystem construction, won multiple Aipulan Awards, once again gaining market attention and high recognition for its enterprise’s technological innovation strength.

TCL Tech Leads to Smart Innovations

Among them, the TCL X11H leading QD-Mini LED TV, known as the “2024 Picture Quality Ceiling,” achieved a breakthrough by becoming the world’s first to achieve thousands of partitions in a hundred-inch level, earning the “Aipulan Gold Award.” As an intelligent terminal product that fully showcases TCL’s leading display technology, this product was showcased for the first time at AWE, featuring a peak brightness of 6500 nits, TCL Huaxing’s high-end A++ Diaphragm Star Home Screen, TCL Global Halo Control Technology, and the independently developed TSR dedicated image quality chip, providing users with a premium viewing experience.

TCL Huaxing’s groundbreaking 14″ 2.8K Printed Hybrid OLED laptop screen, the world’s first in the laptop display field to utilize printed OLED technology, won the “Aipulan Core Award.” This product is currently capable of mass production and is expected to have products available by the end of this year.

In the home appliances sector, TCL’s Ultra-Thin Built-in Zero Refrigerator series and TCL Small Blue Wing P7 Fresh Air Conditioning won the “Aipulan Excellent Product Award” and “Aipulan Innovation Award” respectively, delivering a smart and eco-friendly design concept for a smart living experience. Additionally, the TCL NXTPAPER 14 Pro tablet, featuring independently developed, newly upgraded “Future Paper 3.0” eye-protection display technology, received the Aipulan Excellence Product Award.

At this year’s AWE, TCL presented more than 150 cutting-edge technology products through its two main entities, TCL Industrial and TCL Technology, covering smart terminals, semiconductor displays, and new energy photovoltaics, the three core industries. Behind the numerous awards, lay TCL’s strategic layout focusing on technological innovation, smart manufacturing, and green development over the years.

It is understood that TCL has invested over 60 billion yuan in research and development in the past six years and accumulated more than 100,000 patent applications. TCL Industrial focuses on the smart terminal field, adhering to a mid-to-high-end route, focusing on areas such as artificial intelligence, AR/VR, and display quality, creating a full-house “smart IoT ecosystem” including TVs, refrigerators, air conditioners, and more. TCL Huaxing focuses on the research and commercial application development of display technologies such as LCD, OLED/QLED, MLED, and IJP, continuously strengthening full-size, full-category panel product capabilities, leading the way in next-generation display technologies. As an important part of TCL’s green industry layout, TCL Zhonghuan relies on the “G12+ Tile” dual technology platform to continuously promote green development through the advantages of the industrial chain.

The technological strength supports the enterprise’s product innovation and industry leadership, allowing TCL to gain more recognition from global consumers and partners. In 2023, TCL TV sales reached 25.26 million units, making it the second-largest global brand and the number one Chinese brand. TCL Huaxing’s gaming display screens have held the highest global market share for nine consecutive quarters. TCL Zhonghuan’s photovoltaic crystal chip sales rank first globally.
