Nubia Unveils Its First Compact Foldable Phone: Nubia Flip Released at Starting Price of 2999 Yuan
On April 9th, Quick Technology reported that this afternoon, Nubia held a product launch event, officially unveiling the Nubia Flip, the brand’s first foldable dual-screen smartphone.
In terms of industrial design, Nubia’s designers have integrated their passion for music into the design of the Nubia Flip, presenting a personalized and compact vinyl record-like foldable phone, available in three colors: milk tea, caramel, and taro.
It is introduced that when unfolded, the Nubia Flip measures only 7.0mm in thickness, making it the thinnest domestic compact foldable phone currently available on the market.
The Nubia Flip adopts a brand-new droplet hinge and dual-track suspension design, making the phone even thinner and more seamless. The hinge is made of high-strength aerospace-grade steel material, supporting various angles from 0 to 180 degrees.
When unfolded, the device features a 6.9-inch ultra-high-definition flexible display with a resolution of 2790×1188, supporting a 120Hz high refresh rate, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 10-bit color depth.
It is reported that the outer screen measures 1.43 inches, supporting convenient operations such as taking photos, listening to music, checking the weather, and displaying various notifications directly. When traveling abroad, the outer screen can also provide AI translation, making it very convenient.
In terms of core specifications, the Nubia Flip is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a rear 50-megapixel high-definition dual camera, and a front 16-megapixel beauty selfie camera, supporting various shooting modes such as free-floating shooting from multiple angles, simultaneous preview on both screens, and handheld DV.
As for battery life, the Nubia Flip has a built-in 4310mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.
It is understood that the Nubia Flip will be officially available for purchase through all channels on April 16th, with prices starting from 2999 yuan for the 8GB+256GB version, 3299 yuan for the 12GB+256GB version, and 3699 yuan for the 12GB+512GB version.
