Honor Responds to Xiaomi’s Apology: What’s Up?

Boomerang? Redmi Press Conference Also Mislabels Competitor’s Parameters

On the morning of April 11th, the topic “Honor Responds to Xiaomi’s Apology” surged to the top of Weibo’s hot search list.

The incident originated from the Redmi Turbo 3 press conference on April 10th. During the conference, Xiaomi mistakenly labeled the parameters of the Honor 100 Pro. Subsequently, Wang Teng, the general manager and spokesperson of the Redmi brand, corrected the mistake on the spot and apologized, saying, “The competitor’s model, the line drawing was wrong, referring to the standard version of this series. The model shown in the line drawing is Rro, while the Pro version is equipped with Snapdragon 8Gen2, similar to our K70 standard version. They are all excellent machines. I apologize for the mistake.”

In response, the product manager of the Honor GT series, @骁龙_XL, commented: “Apologizing three times is unnecessary.”
