iPhone 16 Series Leaks Once Again!
According to recent disclosures from foreign media outlet @LEAKSAPPLEPRO, the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro is rumored to start with a space of 256GB.
As we all know, the base storage for the iPhone 15 Pro model is 128GB, while for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, it’s 256GB. It’s been said that this year, the 128GB version of the iPhone 16 Pro will be discontinued, with all models starting at 256GB.
In terms of pricing, the starting price may remain at $999, while domestically, it will start at ¥7999, the same as the original iPhone 15 Pro.
Looking at the specifications, the upgrades for this iPhone 16 are still not particularly dazzling, with many incremental improvements.
The processor will be upgraded to the A18 chip, with the Pro series using the A18 Pro chip. In this era of surplus performance, the previous A16 chip still holds its ground.
The screen will see an upgrade, with the original 6.1-inch increasing to 6.3 inches, and the 6.7-inch to 6.9 inches, with narrower bezels. However, the standard refresh rate remains at 60Hz.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 modem will be prioritized for flagship Pro models, while the standard will still be the X70.
Standard iPhone 16 memory will be upgraded to 8GB, which is not a significant increase compared to the 6GB in the iPhone 15.
There will also be battery upgrades, with the iPhone 16 standard having 3561mAh (compared to 3349mAh in the 15), the iPhone 16 Plus having 4006mAh (15 Plus had 4383mAh), and the iPhone 16 Pro Max having 4676mAh (15 Pro Max had 4422mAh).
Overall, the iPhone 16 seems to maintain its price and lacks significant surprises compared to its predecessor. While it’s framed as offering more for the same price, in reality, it’s more of an incremental update. What are your thoughts on this?
