On May 7, Realme officially announced that the Realme GT Neo6 launch event is scheduled for May 9. Positioned as a “performance hurricane,” the Realme GT Neo6 aims to stir up the mid-range smartphone market. Additionally, this event will mark the debut of the first AI digital human in the smartphone industry. During the event, Xu Qi, Vice President of Realme and President of Global Marketing and China Region, will appear in the form of a digital human.

According to official sources, the Realme GT Neo6, codenamed “Hurricane,” boasts faster and stronger performance, challenging the flagship Snapdragon 8s of the third generation and competing with other top products in its segment. Recently, the Realme GT Neo6 was spotted directly listed on e-commerce platforms, with some key specifications revealed, indicating that the device not only features a Snapdragon 8s processor but also supports 120W fast charging and comes with 1TB of large memory.

Although this is the first AI digital human launch event in the smartphone industry, it’s not the first time a prominent figure has appeared in this form. Previously, Liu Qiangdong, the founder, chairman, and CEO of JD.com, appeared as a digital human to host a live shopping event. This innovative approach immediately captured the audience’s attention.
