Recently, Samsung GALAXY officially announced, “Expanding the horizons of potential, sparking endless imagination. On January 18th at 02:00, join us for the Galaxy global product launch and welcome the Galaxy AI era!”
This means that Samsung will host a global product launch for Galaxy on January 18th. At this event, the new-generation Galaxy S24 series of phones will be unveiled. And based on the official slogan, it is expected that several AI features will be introduced in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
As the launch date nears, recent news also leaked the price details of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
A report by Sina Mobile reveals pricing details of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models in Samsung’s home country. According to this report, the 256GB versions of Galaxy S24 and S24+ will maintain the same pricing as the 2023 models. However, the 512GB versions will see a slight price increase, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra model will witness an overall price hike.
The prices mentioned in the report are:
- 256GB Galaxy S24: 1,155,000 KRW (around 6306 RMB);
- 512GB Galaxy S24: 1,298,000 KRW (around 7087 RMB);
- 256GB Galaxy S24+: 1,353,000 KRW (around 7387 RMB);
- 512GB Galaxy S24+: 1,496,000 KRW (around 8168 RMB);
- 256GB Galaxy S24 Ultra: 1,698,400 KRW (around 9273 RMB);
- 512GB Galaxy S24 Ultra: 1,841,400 KRW (around 10,054 RMB).
These prices are reportedly the ones after the product hits the market. However, the report also mentioned that the pre-order benefits for the Galaxy S24 series include a complimentary storage upgrade.
Earlier, the European market pricing details of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series surfaced online for those interested.
Regarding the new device specs, many leaks have appeared already.
According to the current leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will all be equipped with the Qualcomm 3rd generation Snapdragon 8 chipsets. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy S24 might have a 4000mAh battery, while the Samsung Galaxy S24+ may have a 4900mAh battery, and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to have a 5000mAh battery.
In terms of imaging, the Samsung Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ may come equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera that supports 3x zoom, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to be equipped with a brand-new 50-megapixel 3x telephoto sensor.
