Upcoming Apple Releases: 12.9-inch iPad Pro with OLED Display and iPad Air

It has been reported that this year, Apple will not only release an iPad Pro with an OLED display but will also unveil a 12.9-inch iPad Air.

According to the renderings revealed by 91Mobiles, the overall design of the 12.9-inch iPad Air maintains the family design language. The body remains thin and adopts a full-screen design. However, it employs a single-camera structure on the back and does not include a LIDAR module, still prioritizing entertainment features. Additionally, the 12.9-inch iPad Air may not be equipped with Face ID, instead continuing to use Touch ID fingerprint recognition integrated into the power button, which will limit its unlocking method.

Ross Young, CEO of a display supply chain consulting company, revealed that Apple’s supply chain has already begun shipping display panels for the larger 12.9-inch iPad Air, and it is expected to officially meet consumers in the fall of this year.
