Samsung Unveils its Latest Galaxy S24 Series in a Global Launch Event
Samsung held a global launch event to introduce its latest products: the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Yesterday, the domestic version of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series was officially released in China, with the Samsung Galaxy S24 starting at 5499 yuan, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ starting at 6999 yuan, and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra starting at 9699 yuan. Of particular interest is the Samsung Galaxy S24+, which has seen significant upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S23+.
The Samsung Galaxy S24+ is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 for Galaxy processor. This processor features a large core frequency reaching 3.39GHz, and the GPU frequency of Adreno 750 also reaches 1GHz, making the performance even stronger than the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen3. Whether for daily use or playing large games, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ can effortlessly handle these tasks. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ comes with 12GB of RAM this time, effectively addressing the issue of background apps being killed on previous generations with 8GB of RAM in the Galaxy S series. The Samsung Galaxy S24+ has also improved its heat dissipation for more stable performance.
As for the display, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a peak brightness of 2600 nits, exhibiting a stunning display effect. It supports 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging, offering high charging flexibility, although not remarkably fast. NFC, dual speakers, X-axis linear motor, ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint recognition, and IP68 dust and water resistance are all included, with a complete set of peripheral specifications. Such an outstanding phone, with a thickness of only 7.7mm and weighing just 196g, truly showcases Samsung’s strong industrial design capabilities.
