Exciting News: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 Shows Remarkable Performance Improvement

On February 2nd, according to reports from IT Home, the benchmark scores for Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 were leaked on social media platforms, revealing a significant improvement compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen3.

Specifically, in the Geekbench 6 benchmarking software, the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 scored 2845 in single-core performance and 10628 in multi-core performance, marking it as the first Qualcomm mobile chip to surpass the 10,000 score threshold.

In comparison, the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen3 scored 2200 in single-core and 7200 in multi-core performance on Geekbench 6.

In terms of Antutu benchmark scores, the overall score for Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 exceeded 3.13 million, representing the best performance in the history of Snapdragon chips.

It is reported that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 has bid farewell to the Arm architecture and adopted its self-developed Nuvia architecture, which includes 2 Nuvia Phoenix performance cores and 6 Nuvia Phoenix M cores, forming a new dual-cluster eight-core CPU architecture solution. This marks a significant change in the history of Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G SoCs.

Moreover, the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 will be manufactured using TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process technology, aiming to match the overall performance of the Apple A18 Pro, which is something to look forward to.
