Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Feb. Debut!

Xiaomi’s 2024 Flagship Model: Xiaomi 14 Ultra to Debut in February

According to the latest report from the technology website, on January 24, the well-known blogger Digital Chat hinted that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra could make its debut by the end of February, marking it as Xiaomi’s most powerful flagship in terms of imaging this year.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is said to feature a rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-long-focus lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens.

The 50-megapixel main camera continues the trend of using a 1-inch large bottom camera, but unlike its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which used the Sony IMX989 sensor, this generation will be equipped with the Sony LYT900 sensor.

Reports indicate that the Sony LYT900 has been upgraded to 22nm, a significant improvement over the 40nm IMX989, resulting in better energy performance. This enhancement will effectively reduce heat generation and power consumption during the sensor’s operation.

Moreover, with its higher energy efficiency, the Sony LYT900 is expected to provide a wider dynamic range, leading to significant advancements in various scenarios such as video and photography performance.

Furthermore, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will sport a full-area four-curved screen with a resolution of 2K+. The middle frame will feature a right-angled design, while the back will house a circular camera module surrounded by Parisian nail decorations, available in glass and vegan leather material options.
