Latest Report on the Chinese Smartphone Market by IDC

The International Data Corporation (IDC) has recently released the latest tracking report on the domestic smartphone market in China. According to the report, in the fourth quarter of 2023, approximately 73.63 million smartphones were shipped in the Chinese market, marking a 1.2% year-on-year growth. This rebound comes after ten consecutive quarters of decline. Notably, Honor secured the top spot in both the fourth quarter of 2023 and the full year of 2023 in terms of smartphone shipments in the domestic market, ranking first among Android devices.

According to the report, the top five smartphone brands in terms of shipment volume in the fourth quarter of 2023 were Apple, Honor, Vivo, Huawei, and OPPO. For the full year of 2023, the ranking was led by Apple, Honor, OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi. (IT Home)
