Latest Updates on Huawei P70 Series
Recently, there have been numerous leaks regarding the upcoming Huawei P70 series smartphones, unveiling various details. According to the leaks, the new Huawei P70 series will feature a different body design compared to its predecessors.
Fast forward to March 2024, more leaked product details are surfacing.
Today, digital content creator @DigitalChatStation shared an image of a phone case, claiming it to be a third-party case for the Huawei P70.
From the image, it seems that the new Huawei P70 series will adopt a triangular rear camera module design, setting it apart in terms of aesthetics from existing models in the market.
Moreover, based on the openings on the phone case for the rear camera area, it is deduced that the new Huawei P70 series will feature a triple rear camera setup.
According to information from the supply chain, the standard version of Huawei P70 is rumored to come with the Hisilicon OV50H sensor as the main rear camera, featuring a physical variable aperture. Additionally, it is said to include an ultra-wide-angle lens, a periscope telephoto lens, and a macro lens setup.

This isn’t the first time rumors about Huawei’s triangular rear camera module have emerged.
Previously, leaks hinted at Huawei sticking with the triangular deco for the Standard and Pro versions of the P70 series.
Simultaneously, earlier leaks have also showcased renders of the Huawei P70 series with the triangular deco for the rear camera module.
Apart from the triangular rear camera module design, the Huawei P70 series is expected to introduce an irregular rear camera module design for the higher-end Huawei P70 Art model.
There have been renders leaked regarding this design as well. The Huawei P70 Art is speculated to feature a triple camera setup with a unique rear camera module design.
Looking back at the previous generation’s Huawei P60 series, the Huawei P60 Art model drew inspiration from islands and featured an irregular rear camera module design.
Hence, there’s a possibility that the new Huawei P70 Art model may introduce a design distinct from other models.
In terms of specifications, the Huawei P70 series is said to come equipped with the Kirin 5G chipset, high-density battery, wireless charging, a 50MP main camera, periscope telephoto lens, bi-directional new version of satellite communication technology, and a 6.7-inch 1.5K curved screen with stereo speakers.
Comparatively, the preceding Huawei P60 series featured Snapdragon 8+ 4G processors with a 48MP primary camera. Therefore, it’s anticipated that the new Huawei P70 series flagship will bring upgrades in core performance and imaging capabilities.
However, as official details have yet to be released, the exact specifications of the Huawei P70 series are subject to future confirmation.
