Over 100K rush to see SU7 at Xiaomi store in a day

Xiaomi’s Latest Model SU7 Draws Huge Attention and Anticipation

On March 13th, according to the latest report from IT House, the founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, revealed that after the official announcement of Xiaomi SU7, the number of in-store reservations increased by over 100,000 within a day.

Wang Hua, from Xiaomi Group, questioned the significance of this figure. He pointed out, “Considering that our first batch of stores is only available in 29 cities with 59 outlets, this means that each store would need to accommodate an average of 1,695 visitors for product viewings.”

This steep rise in reservations has put considerable pressure on the staff at the stores, making it an unprecedented challenge for them. It seems like even the experienced sales champions have not encountered such a situation before.

This surge in interest not only signifies the tremendous attention surrounding Xiaomi SU7 but also highlights the enthusiastic reception it is receiving from consumers.

The most pressing question on everyone’s mind is the pricing of Xiaomi SU7. In a tech conference held last year, Lei Jun emphasized multiple times that the first model might be a bit expensive, dismissing rumors of prices like 99,000 or 149,000 yuan.

Industry experts speculate that the price of Xiaomi SU7 will likely remain below 200,000 yuan.

Lei Jun expressed, “SU7 is a labor of love for us. If you find it appealing, please show your support. If you have any concerns, feel free to voice them out. We will surely listen carefully and strive to make improvements.”
