Elon Musk Announces Next Neuralink Product to Help Blind People Regain Sight

Elon Musk announced on Thursday that the next product from his brain-machine interface company Neuralink, following “Telepathy,” will be “Blindsight,” aimed at assisting blind individuals in restoring their vision.

Previously, Musk shared a video from Neuralink demonstrating the first recipient of their brain-machine chip using their mind to play international chess and games on a computer.

One of Musk’s fans, “DogeDesigner,” later shared a clip of Musk’s previous statement where Musk mentioned, “Even if someone has never had sight, as if they were born blind, we believe we can still use Neuralink to restore vision.”

Musk responded by saying, “Blindsight is the next Neuralink product following Telepathy.”
