Excitement Surrounding Huawei’s Upcoming P70 Series Release in April
Recently, the news about the upcoming launch of the Huawei P70 series in April has become a hot topic online. Not only did it climb to the top of trending topics on Weibo, but there was also a leak claiming that the new series of devices had already obtained certification from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. However, digital bloggers recently revealed that apart from the highly anticipated P70 series, there will be even more new products unveiled at Huawei’s April product launch event, possibly exceeding 11 different products.
Digital blogger @Uncle Mountain Viewer recently leaked a list of new products rumored to be unveiled at the Huawei event in April, stating, “At least 11 new products will be launched in April. What are you looking forward to?” According to the list revealed, besides the long-rumored 3 or 4 models of the Huawei P70 series, there will also be new laptops, headphones, smartwatches, cars, smart screens, and potentially more than 11 new products showcased at this event.
Looking at the lineup of new products that have been leaked, Huawei’s upcoming April product launch can be described as a technological feast, with a strong and diverse range of products. From smartphones, computers, wearable devices, smart home products, to the automotive field, if these leaks are true, it’s clear that Huawei is comprehensively building its ecosystem for smart living, covering various aspects of daily life.
However, among the numerous new products, the Huawei P70 series still garners the highest attention. Based on the information leaked so far, it seems that three products in this series have acquired certification, most likely being the P70, P70 Pro, and P70 Art models, while the rumored fourth model, possibly the extraordinary Master Edition, has less information disclosed at the moment.
Moreover, following the usual positioning of this series, the imaging capabilities are expected to remain one of the major highlights. It’s rumored that the main camera sensors will all be the powerful Hua Wei OV50H, supporting 50 million pixels, with a sensor size of 1/1.3 inches, individual pixel size of 1.2μm, and providing a large pixel size of 2.4μm in four-in-one pixel mode. The main camera sensor is expected to be a one-inch large format Sony IMX989 sensor.
According to the latest leaked information on the suspected Huawei P70 series models’ Geekbench scores, the P70 and P70 Pro may feature the Kirin 9000s processor with a total of 12 cores consisting of 4 at 1.53GHz, 6 at 2.15GHz, and 2 at 2.62GHz, or a high-frequency variant of this processor. The P70 Art model is speculated to be equipped with a new design Kirin processor featuring 8 cores, with 4 at 2.02GHz, 3 at 2.75GHz, and 1 at 3.19GHz. However, information regarding these new models is still at the leak stage, and the precise details will be confirmed only through an official announcement.
