Recently, Huawei has begun teasing its upcoming Pura 70 series. Huawei’s Executive Director and CEO of the Consumer Business Group, Richard Yu, mentioned, “Pura 70 can be seen as the P70, and there will be good news in a couple of days.” Now, digital bloggers are revealing that the supply situation for the Huawei Pura 70 series still faces an imbalance between supply and demand.
According to the blogger, the current offline distribution situation indicates that the Pura 70 ≈ Pura 70 Pro+>>Pura 70 Pro, with both former models being bundled with the sales of the FreeBuds 5 Ultimate Edition. The availability of the Pura 70 Ultra is pending, with no initial blind reservations fulfilled. From the information disclosed by the blogger, it seems that the Pura 70 and Pura 70 Pro+ might have the highest stock levels among this series, while the Pura 70 Pro has relatively less stock, making it possibly harder to acquire. Meanwhile, the Pura 70 Ultra is expected to be even more challenging to obtain.

As an important branch of Huawei’s high-end smartphone product line, the release of the P70 has always been highly anticipated, especially this year, as it frequently trends on social media. On April 15, Huawei’s official Weibo account released several videos about the Huawei P series, announcing the official upgrade of the series to “Huawei Pura.” On the morning of the 16th, Richard Yu told a reporter from First Financial Daily, “Pura70 can be seen as the P70, and there will be good news in a couple of days.”
As the release date approaches, reporters recently visited Huawei’s authorized offline stores in Guangzhou and Shenzhen and found that some stores had started “blind box reservations.” A Huawei distributor in Guangdong province mentioned that they had completed stock prepayments on the 15th, but they hadn’t received specific distribution timing notifications from Huawei for offline stores.
