Galaxy S25 to start with 8GB RAM, rivals Apple!

On April 18, according to the information from 快科技 (Tech Fast) website, digital blogger “i冰宇宙” tweeted that Samsung’s next-generation flagship phone, the Galaxy S25 standard version, will still start with 8GB of RAM.

Currently, lower-priced Android phones in China already come with 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and some models even offer as much as 24GB of RAM.

However, Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series still insists on starting with 8GB of RAM, giving the impression of being “unambitious.” Therefore, some netizens have criticized that both Samsung’s and Apple’s memory are considered “premium memory.”

If next year’s Samsung Galaxy S25 standard version continues to start with 8GB of RAM, even if higher specifications are used, its appeal to consumers will be greatly reduced.

According to previous reports, due to the performance gap between their own Exynos processors and Qualcomm’s processors, Samsung will continue to adopt a dual-processor strategy with Qualcomm Snapdragon processors still appearing in the S25 series.

In different markets, the S25 series will be equipped with either the Exynos 2500 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor, with the highest-end S25 Ultra possibly only offering the Qualcomm processor version.
