Just a couple of days after the end of the Spring Festival holiday, Xiaomi’s long-awaited flagship model, the 14 Ultra, is finally set to meet us tomorrow. Today, Xiaomi officially unleashed various selling points of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Among its performance, battery life, camera capabilities, and design, what has caught the most attention from netizens is undoubtedly the satellite communication feature integrated into the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Everyone is eager to know if the Xiaomi 14 Ultra can compete with the pioneer in the field of mobile satellite communication, Huawei.

Xiaomi is well-versed in marketing and fully understands where users’ interests lie. Even before the official release of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi cleverly showcased a comparison between this model and the Huawei Mate60 Pro.

Furthermore, Xiaomi also conducted a test on call connection speed, revealing that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra connected calls in 20 seconds, while the Huawei Mate60 Pro took 23 seconds. Contrary to what many believed before, that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra only supported satellite communication without regular calls, Xiaomi has dispelled this doubt and performed even more perfectly than Huawei. However, some may argue that Huawei still holds stronger technology compared to Xiaomi in this aspect.

Anticipating such doubts, Xiaomi showcased its latest breakthrough—the Pang T1 signal enhancement chip. This chip actively detects signals and tunes antennas, resulting in a 37% improvement in cellular communication performance and a 16% improvement in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performance. Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes equipped with two of these chips.

Signal Enhancement Chip

Thanks to the Pang T1 chip from Xiaomi, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra boasts a 21% enhancement in satellite antenna transmission and reception performance, a 60% improvement in satellite search speed, and a 29% increase in satellite connection speed, leading the competition by a long shot. This promotional wave has once again sparked heated discussions among netizens, receiving both praises and criticisms. Nonetheless, regardless of the sentiments, Xiaomi is indeed commendable for its marketing strategies, stirring up quite a buzz, whether positive or negative.
