With the year 2024 approaching March, there is an increasing amount of rumors surrounding the iPhone 16 series.

It’s been a long time since Fruit (referring to Apple) classmates shared any news about the iPhone 16 with everyone.

Next, let’s take a look at the changes in the iPhone 16.

First, let’s talk about the appearance.

Compared to the unchanging design of the iPhone in recent generations, this year’s iPhone 16 series may undergo significant changes in appearance!

According to Macrumors, Apple has adopted a vertically arranged camera design for the latest prototype of the iPhone 16, with a pill-shaped protrusion.

As a result, the standard version of the iPhone 16 will adopt a “brand new” module design, departing from the previous uninspired “diagonal” design.

The overall effect, similar to the render below, looks much cleaner.

The changes in the Pro models are even more interesting.

Recently, digital blogger @Majin Bu tweeted a high-resolution render of what appears to be the iPhone 16 Pro series, sparking a heated discussion.

He mentioned that the render closely resembles the current prototype design being tested by Apple.

In the new design of the iPhone 16 Pro, a three-sided concave triangle has been added to the back, enclosing the three cameras.

Moreover, the interior has been smoked black, giving an overall effect that somewhat resembles a fidget spinner.

Some users expressed that Apple has finally made a breakthrough in iPhone design, while others commented that it looks “too ugly.”

What are your thoughts on this appearance?

It’s worth mentioning that the leaker emphasized that this could be a “smokescreen” thrown by Apple to “fish” out internal leakers.

Therefore, for now, let’s just enjoy the new design of the iPhone 16 Pro.

@Majin Bu also revealed that Apple may introduce new colors for this year’s iPhone 16 Pro, such as “Desert Titanium” or “Titanium Gray.”

“Desert Titanium” is similar to the gold color of the iPhone 14 Pro but deeper and heavier, while “Titanium Gray” is similar to the deep space gray of the iPhone 6 in 2014.

It’s worth mentioning that the blogger also pointed out that these colors are not 100% accurate and only one of them may be approved as a color in the final product line.

In terms of hardware, there are also significant changes to the new iPhones.

According to leaks, the size of the iPhone 16 Pro will be further increased this year. Compared to the 6.12 inches of the 15 Pro, the iPhone 16 Pro will be enlarged to 6.27 inches.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max, on the other hand, will increase from the previous 6.69 inches to 6.86 inches.

With the increase in body size, Apple will fit larger batteries into the iPhone 16 Pro series.

For example, the battery capacity of the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be 4676mAh, compared to the 4422mAh of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, an increase of 254mAh.

So, the iPhone 16 Pro series is expected to have the longest battery life in iPhone history.

Speaking of battery life, leaks suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro may also support 40W wired fast charging.

Although Android phones have been reaching over a hundred watts, seeing an iPhone with 40W is quite rare.

As for the battery life of the standard models, there isn’t much information available yet, but based on Cook’s style, it will likely be precisely tailored.

Regarding core specifications, it is reported that the standard version of the iPhone 16 will be equipped with the A18 processor, while the Pro version will have the A18 Pro processor.

Furthermore, all models of the iPhone 16 will come with 8GB of RAM.

In terms of imaging, it is also a major highlight of the new iPhones this year.

The iPhone 16 Pro series will feature a 48-megapixel Sony IMX903 customized main camera with an astonishing 1/1.14-inch super large sensor.

The ultra-wide-angle will also be upgraded to a new 48-megapixel sensor.

Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro series is considering using a 1MG+7P molded glass-plastic module to enhance the optical performance of the lens, making photos sharper and more transparent.

Regarding photography, reports indicate that Apple is exploring the introduction of a dedicated camera button in the iPhone 16 Pro series.

This button may support functions such as sliding left and right to zoom in and out, light press for photos, and deep press for videos.

According to current information, Apple may be squeezing a lot of toothpaste out for this year’s iPhone 16 series.

So, how do you feel about these changes in the iPhone 16 series?

Let’s discuss in the comments.
