According to Macrumors, Apple has adopted a vertically arranged camera design for the latest prototype of the iPhone 16, with a pill-shaped protrusion.
As a result, the standard version of the iPhone 16 will adopt a “brand new” module design, departing from the previous uninspired “diagonal” design.

Recently, digital blogger @Majin Bu tweeted a high-resolution render of what appears to be the iPhone 16 Pro series, sparking a heated discussion.
He mentioned that the render closely resembles the current prototype design being tested by Apple.
In the new design of the iPhone 16 Pro, a three-sided concave triangle has been added to the back, enclosing the three cameras.
Moreover, the interior has been smoked black, giving an overall effect that somewhat resembles a fidget spinner.

Some users expressed that Apple has finally made a breakthrough in iPhone design, while others commented that it looks “too ugly.”

@Majin Bu also revealed that Apple may introduce new colors for this year’s iPhone 16 Pro, such as “Desert Titanium” or “Titanium Gray.”
“Desert Titanium” is similar to the gold color of the iPhone 14 Pro but deeper and heavier, while “Titanium Gray” is similar to the deep space gray of the iPhone 6 in 2014.
It’s worth mentioning that the blogger also pointed out that these colors are not 100% accurate and only one of them may be approved as a color in the final product line.
In terms of hardware, there are also significant changes to the new iPhones.
According to leaks, the size of the iPhone 16 Pro will be further increased this year. Compared to the 6.12 inches of the 15 Pro, the iPhone 16 Pro will be enlarged to 6.27 inches.

Speaking of battery life, leaks suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro may also support 40W wired fast charging.
Although Android phones have been reaching over a hundred watts, seeing an iPhone with 40W is quite rare.
