Recently, many users have criticized the user experience of Windows 11. Users have widely reported that during the installation of the preview version image, Microsoft requires users to input their Microsoft account and prompts them to “update your device or browser” during the device initialization stage. However, if users lack internet connection and do not have a Microsoft account, they will be unable to complete the installation of the Windows 11 system smoothly.
This issue has drawn the attention of the well-known figure in the tech industry, Elon Musk. He publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with Windows 11, especially concerning the installation process on social media. “I purchased a new laptop only to find out to my surprise that I cannot use Windows 11 without an MSA (Microsoft Account),” Musk pointed out.
Currently, there are two ways to bypass this problem: The first way is to press the shift + f10 keys during the device initialization stage and enter “oobe bypassnro” (without quotes) and press Enter. This will result in the computer restarting, allowing users to continue the installation without the need for an internet connection or adding any account information.
Another method is to directly input “test” in the account input field, which the Microsoft system will recognize as invalid information and revert back to the option of creating a local account. This way, even with restricted internet connectivity, users can smoothly install the Windows 11 system.
In conclusion, despite the many new features and improvements brought by Windows 11, some users have criticized its interface and installation process. Hopefully, Microsoft will actively listen to user feedback and optimize the product in future versions.
