On the evening of March 5th, Lu Weibing, a senior executive of Xiaomi Group, arrived at the office in Paris, France. This office is just a few kilometers away from the famous Eiffel Tower, offering a magnificent view from the balcony. Xiaomi’s core values of “sincerity and passion” have been successfully translated into French and displayed on the cultural wall in the office area.

Lu Weibing stated that Xiaomi holds around 20% market share in France, and the company’s future focus will be on enhancing the high-end quality of its products. He also mentioned that Xiaomi 14 Ultra has received a warm response in the French market, positioning it directly to compete with Apple and Samsung in the premium price range of over 1500 euros.

It is known that the overseas version of Xiaomi 14 Ultra was officially released on February 25, offering a 12GB+512GB storage version priced at 1499 euros (approximately 11671 yuan), even higher than the starting price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to a survey conducted by foreign media, about one-third of consumers indicated that they would immediately purchase this model if they were in Europe. Approximately 20% of respondents stated they need more time to consider, planning to wait for reviews of the phone before making a decision.

According to the global smartphone market report for the full year of 2023 released by the well-known analysis firm Canalys, Xiaomi shipped 146.4 million units in 2023, with over 70% of sales coming from overseas markets. This data indicates that Xiaomi’s influence is gradually expanding globally, continuously encroaching on the market share of international brands such as Apple and Samsung.
