New Snapdragon 8s Gen3 Launches Mar 18!

Snapdragon 8s Gen3 is Here! Qualcomm Snapdragon Flagship New Product Launch Event Scheduled for March 18

On March 11, according to a report from Fast Technology, Qualcomm officially announced that the Snapdragon flagship new product launch event will take place on March 18, claiming it to be “Intelligence in the Core, Spirit with the Dragon.”

The official statement mentioned that this launch event will introduce a brand-new Snapdragon flagship processor, expected to be the previously leaked Snapdragon 8s Gen3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 processors.

According to previous leaks, the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen3 processor with the codename SM8635 is a 5G chip boasting flagship-level performance.

The Snapdragon 8S Gen3 adopts the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen3, built on a 4nm process by TSMC, with its overall performance falling between the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and Gen3.

In terms of specifications, the Snapdragon 8S Gen3 uses TSMC’s 4nm process, with a CPU comprised of 1*3.01GHz X4+4*2.61GHz A720+3*1.84GHz A520, and an Adreno 735 GPU.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 also adopts the same flagship architecture design as the Snapdragon 8 Gen3, being referred to as a “slightly smaller version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3.”

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 frequencies are: 1x 2.9GHz X4 big core+4x 2.6GHz A720+3x 1.9GHz A520, with an Adreno 732 GPU operating at a frequency of over 800MHz.

Currently, models such as Realme GT Neo6 series, Redmi Note 13 Turbo, Xiaomi Civi 4, OnePlus Ace 3V, Vivo Pad3, iQOO Neo9 series, and others will use the aforementioned two chips, so stay tuned!
