On April 23, Lu Weibing from Xiaomi Group posted on Weibo that Lei Jun announced at the Xiaomi Investor Conference that as of April 20, the pre-orders for the Xiaomi SU7 have exceeded 70,000 units. Additionally, Lu Weibing mentioned in another Weibo post that Lei Jun also announced a delivery target of over 100,000 units for the year 2024 for the Xiaomi SU7.

On the 22nd, Lei Jun revealed on Weibo the production status of Xiaomi SU7 orders. Currently, the production capacity and delivery speed of the Xiaomi SU7 are increasing rapidly, with both the standard version and Max being delivered ahead of schedule. Many prospective owners found that the estimated delivery time has been moved up in the Xiaomi Car App.

It’s worth noting that after introducing the Xiaomi SU7, Lei Jun also recommended products from other domestic new energy vehicle brands to netizens, stating, “If you are anxious to buy a car, domestic new energy vehicles are all good choices. For example, models like Zhijie S7, NIO ET5, Xiaopeng P7 series, etc., are also worth considering.”

According to official announcements, the Xiaomi Car Beijing Auto Show press conference is scheduled for April 25 (this Thursday) at 09:20 am. The officials stated that on Thursday, Lei Jun will discuss “After 28 days of listing, how is the pre-order delivery performance?” “What are the new plans for the Xiaomi SU7 in 2024?” and other related questions.

Furthermore, questions such as “How many cars are planned to be delivered this year?” “When will the urban NOA be opened?” and “When will the first phase OTA plan be launched?”—all of which are of public interest—will be addressed at the Beijing Auto Show press conference.
