On April 22nd, OPPO announced the official release of its new K series smartphone, the OPPO K12, scheduled for April 24th. During the briefing, Zhang Jialiang, OPPO’s fast charging scientist, announced that the upcoming OPPO K12 would feature the long-lasting 100W Super Flash Charge and a 5500mAh large battery, enabling 5 minutes of charging for 10 hours of talk time, heralding the era of widespread adoption of 100W fast charging and ultra-long battery life.
The mission of OPPO’s K series has always been to create excellent smartphones for 500 million users. In the mid-range smartphone market, the trade-off between a large battery and high-power charging has been a persistent issue, causing users to suffer from poor battery life.
