Revealed: Huawei Pura70 Series with Kirin 9010 Processor – A First Look at Mega Size Features
Huawei’s Pura70 series suddenly went on sale both online and offline, just like the Huawei Mate60 series. It was released without a launch event, and as expected, the demand surpassed the supply, leading to a rapid sell-out. The major suspense surrounding the Huawei Pura70 series this time is whether it is equipped with the Kirin 9000s processor or an overclocked version.
The suspense has been unveiled. The Huawei Pura70 series is powered by the Kirin 9010 processor. Its large core runs at 2.3GHz, the mid-core at 2.18GHz, and the small core at 1.55GHz. The GPU remains the Maleoon 910. Overall, it is not much different from the Kirin 9000s. Its performance benchmark scores are 1442 for single-core and 4471 for multi-core, surpassing the Kirin 9000s by 113 and 265 points, respectively. Now, the focus is on power consumption and heat generation.
This time, there are four versions in the Huawei Pura70 series: Huawei Pura70, Huawei Pura70 Pro, Huawei Pura70 Pro+, and Huawei Pura70 Ultra. While Huawei Pura70 uses the same Kirin 9000s processor as the Mate60, the latter three versions are equipped with the Kirin 9010 processor. All models in this series come with wireless fast charging and IP68 dust and water resistance with long-range periscopic lens.
The differences lie mainly in the screen, battery, fast charging power, camera, dual-satellite communication, and glass. The standard version has a flat screen, while the other three models feature curved screens. The first two models use the second-generation Kunlun glass, while the Huawei Pura70 Pro+ and Huawei Pura70 Ultra boast Xuanwu tempered Kunlun glass.
The battery and fast charging specifications are as follows: Huawei Pura70 features a 4900mAh battery, 66W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless fast charging. Huawei Pura70 Pro and Huawei Pura70 Pro+ have a 5050mAh battery, with 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging. As for Huawei Pura70 Ultra, it is equipped with a 5200mAh battery and the same fast charging as the Pro versions.
In terms of satellite communication, Huawei Pura70 Pro supports Beidou satellite, Huawei Pura70 Pro+ supports Tiantong satellite for calls and Beidou satellite for messaging, and Huawei Pura70 Ultra supports Tiantong satellite for calls and bidirectional Beidou satellite communication.
In terms of photography, all models feature adjustable apertures. The standard version is notably impressive, while the Huawei Pura70 Pro+ and even the Huawei Pura70 Pro are expected to lead the DXO camera ranking list. The most powerful model, Huawei Pura70 Ultra, features a 5000MP adjustable aperture main camera, a 4000MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50MP periscopic lens, along with a long-range macro lens. What’s particularly special is the innovative rotating super-focus telescopic main camera, allowing it to extend and retract as needed for the first time in smartphone photography.
As for the prices, Huawei Pura70 starts at 5499 yuan, Huawei Pura70 Pro at 6499 yuan, Huawei Pura70 Pro+ at 7999 yuan, and Huawei Pura70 Ultra at 9999 yuan. Many people are rushing to make purchases.
