Honor Magic6’s Debut Sees Record Q1 Sales, Doubling Previous Models

According to the latest data released by IDC, Honor has taken the top spot in the domestic mobile phone market with a 17.1% market share. CNMO has learned that Honor’s growth in the high-end smartphone market is also very strong. Some digital influencers have revealed data indicating that the debut sales volume of the Honor Magic6 series in the first quarter exceeded the combined sales volume of the previous two quarters of the previous generation product. Furthermore, boosted by the foldable screen models, Honor’s shipment volume in the high-end smartphone market above $600 has seen a year-on-year increase of 123.3%.

The Honor Magic6 series kicked off its debut sales on January 18 this year, quickly achieving outstanding sales performance. According to official data released by Honor, the Honor Magic6 series surpassed 666 million RMB in sales on all e-commerce platforms in just 2 minutes and 35 seconds after its launch, outperforming the entire day’s sales of the previous generation product across all channels.

As a high-end flagship, the Honor Magic6 series has demonstrated strong technological capabilities in various aspects such as communication, battery life, screen, imaging, and AI. Particularly in terms of eye protection, the Magic6 series has adopted industry-leading technology including a peak brightness of 5000 nits and a 4320Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, and has passed the TUV 3.0 eye protection certification from Germany’s Rhine and the VICOA+ visual comfort test from China’s Vision Health Research Institute.

Some media analysis suggests that the market performance of the Honor Magic6 series reflects the recovery of the Chinese smartphone market and consumers’ recognition of innovative technology and “Made in China”.
